We shall be seeing some interesting insights from the comparison of the number of IPL Matches played by a player and the Auctioned Price of the Player in the IPL 2020. Based on :
-Playing Role
-Team Bought
-Team Sold
-Player

The below first visual shows a gradual decrease in the Auctioned price as the number of matches increases.

Player: (Price in ₹ lacs — No. of matches)
Highest price:
Glenn Maxwell — ₹1075 -69

Highest matches:
Robin Uthappa — ₹300–177

Playing Role:
Batsman (4) — ₹865 lacs
All Rounder (3 ) — ₹2125 lacs

Team Bought:
Royal Challengers Bangalore — 3
Rajasthan Royals — 3

Team Sold:
No Team — 4
KKR — 2

This surprisingly shows that a players value(Auctioned Price) starts decreasing with the increase in the number of matches by the player
